Citibank is seeking a Strategic Audit Director to lead complex audit activities and manage a team of professionals.

Job Description:

This role involves managing a unit within Internal Audit, developing and executing a robust Technology Audit Plan, and directing complex audit activities for a component of the business at a regional or country level.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of Technology Internal Audit professionals, recruit staff, and manage their professional development.
  2. Deliver high-quality audit reports, Internal Audit and Regulatory issue validation, and business monitoring and governance committee reports.
  3. Direct reviews for all types of audits, including complex ones, and review and approve Business Monitoring Quarterly Summaries.
  4. Participate in major business initiatives and provide expert advice on change projects.
  5. Implement integrated auditing concepts and technology trends, and adapt them for the Audit function.
  6. Analyze report findings, identify solutions for complex control issues, and propose creative and pragmatic solutions.
  7. Partner with Directors and Managing Directors to develop approaches for addressing emerging corporate issues.
  8. Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring consideration for Citibank's reputation, clients, and assets.
Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a related position.
  2. Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA) are preferred.
  3. Experience in compliance and technology background is highly valued.
  4. Demonstrated successful experience in business, functional, and people management.
  5. Proven ability to execute multiple deliverables according to strict timetables.
  6. Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement and innovation in audit tools and techniques.
  7. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment.
  9. Strong negotiation skills.
