We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at SAPPHIRE SOUTH INDIAN KITCHEN. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Package take-out food.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Handle and store cleaning products.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sharpen kitchen knives.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Will train.
Work Environment:

Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will work closely with our team to provide excellent service to our customers.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in our kitchen.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week.
