The salary range for this role is estimated to be between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

This position reports to the Product Development Manager and is responsible for developing new products by supporting the creation of innovative ingredients and formulations. You will also support the Product Change team as needed to investigate and approve alternate ingredients, substitutions, and product revisions that maintain product integrity.

You will work across various categories and accelerate the growth of your skills, learning about different product types and technologies. This includes working with continuous lines, hot and cold lines, and preparing sauces, toppings, and fillings.

  • Growing your skills in analysis and assembly, you will work with the lab team to analyze products and record values to support product specification development.
  • Developing new products, you will adhere to strict development guidelines, brand requirements, and testing processes to deliver consistent formulations that meet customer expectations.
  • Testing and verifying shelf life and conducting sensory testing and line trials, including packing.
  • Documenting formulations, ingredient documentation, processes, shelf life, and testing results.

You will be part of a product development project team working closely with Sales Account Managers and customers, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Procurement and suppliers, Engineering, and Operations teams to deliver business objectives.
