Business Operations Analyst Role

At CB Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst to support our client in the Retail Sector. As a Business Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the second phase of business operations by understanding requirements, conducting research, and freezing final inputs.

  • Translate business requirements into actionable business cases with clear acceptance criteria.

  • Use data-driven decision methodologies to analyze customer journeys and identify business opportunities.

  • Cultivate relationships with global peers in other markets to align with global standards and leverage processes and systems across markets.

  • Actively support and optimize systems and processes in your domain by promoting defect fixes, frequently occurring support problems, and efficiency drains into your backlog.

  • Actively communicate with diverse stakeholders through information sharing, listening sessions, training programs, and clear documentation.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and products in the omni-channel landscape, turning research into actionable recommendations to achieve business objectives.

  • Act as a system SME, understanding how stakeholders use systems and providing vision and assistance to teams in getting the most from capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Excellent communication skills, willingness to conduct research, and credibility checks on return items.

  • 6-8 years of experience required.

  • Familiarity with agile tools like Jira and Confluence.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP/CBAP certification is an asset.

  • Retail experience.

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum.

Work Arrangements

Hybrid work arrangement, with a mix of remote and in-office work.
