Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable and efficient supply chain.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to optimize our purchasing power.
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Review our requirements and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, taking into account quality, price, and availability.
Requirements
  • Accurate and efficient in all aspects of procurement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and deadlines.
Education and Experience

A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required. Experience in a similar role is an asset, and proficiency in Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian languages is a plus.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position, working 40 to 50 hours per week in a wholesale establishment/store environment.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
