Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Marine Seafood. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to optimize our purchasing power.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent overstocking and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to determine product requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform purchasing decisions.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in wholesale buying or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
