About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at SIDCO GLOBAL TRADE INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 maintenance staff, including tilesetters, floor covering installers, and labourers.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
    • Estimate costs and materials for maintenance projects.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on maintenance activities and costs.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a maintenance or supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
