We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Centennial Building Services Incorporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance activities of our commercial facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, and meet our high standards.
- Recommend Additional Services: Identify areas where additional services may be required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the necessary resources to complete their tasks.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure that cleaning and maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that cleaning and maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Leadership and Management: Proven experience in leading and managing a team of cleaning staff.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and clients.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that cleaning and maintenance activities are completed to a high standard.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of environments, including office buildings, commercial facilities, and other locations as required.
