Job Summary

Olympus Corporation of the Americas is seeking a skilled Medical Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team. As an Endoscope Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and proper functioning of our medical devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Evaluate, troubleshoot, disassemble, assemble, repair, and inspect medical devices to meet company standards.
  • Quality Control: Perform inspections and estimations of customer products received for repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate service records electronically and manually.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of documents and processes.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean, well-organized work environment at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; a graduate of a community college with a technology concentration is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical repairs, preferably in the medical or healthcare industry.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language: Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English required; bilingual French is an asset.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Expected to maintain acceptable standards for attendance and punctuality, and work overtime as needed.
