The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment and treatment skills, with a focus on neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric conditions
  • Collaborate with a physiotherapist, occupational therapy assistant, and multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Progress patients through their care plan, ensuring optimal outcomes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based research in occupational therapy
Requirements
  • Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Member of the Canadian Occupational Therapy Association or Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists preferred
  • Experience working with neurological conditions required
  • Cognitive/perceptual assessment and treatment skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities with proven time management skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
