Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Halton Healthcare. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients with neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with neurological conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the physiotherapist, occupational therapy assistant, and other healthcare professionals
  • Conduct cognitive and perceptual assessments and provide treatment
  • Work in an acute inpatient setting, including Geriatrics and acute medical programs
  • Use outcome measures to evaluate patient progress
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
  • Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Member of the Canadian Occupational Therapy Association or Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists preferred
  • Experience working with neurological conditions required
  • Cognitive/perceptual assessment and treatment skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities with proven time management skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
