About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Integrity Engineer/Technologist to join our team at TC Energy. As a key member of our Pipe Integrity Corrosion and SCC Threat Management Department, you will play a critical role in supporting pipeline integrity activities and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pipeline defect analysis and propose remedial or follow-up actions;
  • Perform advanced quantitative risk analysis and engineering assessments;
  • Develop and support excavation programs and provide technical support to internal stakeholders;
  • Interact with regulatory agencies and provide audit support as required;
  • Assist in tracking and completion of work related to the expedited ECA program;
  • Perform other tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Diploma in Engineering Technology, or equivalent;
  • Degreed Engineers must be registered, or eligible to be registered, as a professional engineer (P. Eng) with APEGA in good standing;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Team player with effective collaborative working relationships;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of software applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of in-line inspection tools and pipeline condition evaluations;
  • Knowledge of 49 CFR Part 192, 49CFR Part 195, and related industry standards;
  • Previous experience in the design, operation, and construction of high-pressure natural gas or liquid transmission pipelines and related facilities.
