Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at The Child Club. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily activities of our childcare centre, ensuring the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their needs.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts to promote their cognitive and creative development.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors to track their progress and development.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings to ensure a collaborative approach to their care and development.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience working with children in a childcare setting.
  • Excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Reliability and punctuality to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.
