The Child Club is seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and care of young children in our childcare centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their needs.
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts to promote their cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors to support their development and care.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings to ensure their needs are being met.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a childcare setting.
  • Criminal record check.
