Job SummaryThe Assistant Manager II is a core member of the leadership team that drives Sunglass Hut's success. This role works in partnership with the Store/Multi Store Manager to oversee all daily functions of the store, including selling, coaching, merchandising, talent acquisition, and retail excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize company tools to deliver sales plan, develop associates, and achieve company objectives.
- Identify and address gaps in performance and capitalize on successes using reporting tools and business acumen.
- Provide ongoing coaching for associates to support their growth and development, creating an inspirational and motivating work environment.
- Acquire talent by utilizing networking and recruiting skills, conducting interviews in partnership with the Store/Multi Store Manager.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships by maximizing company tools.
- Consistently execute brand standards.
- Maintain store merchandising standards, including updates or changes.
- Stay current on new products in both fashion and performance using company learning tools.
- Ensure execution of operational policies and procedures.
- Communicate brand strategy, including promotions, contests, and incentives, to the team.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience.
- Demonstrates expertise in every aspect of store operation.
- Detail-oriented.
- Uses critical thinking to deliver absolute execution of operational components.
- Customer service and/or retail experience.
- Previous leadership experience of 1+ years.
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
