The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and be able to create high-quality cabinets, furniture, and related products.
This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating costs and materials, repairing or restyling wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Trimming joints and fitting parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints;
- Sanding wooden surfaces and applying veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; preparing and applying laminated plastics;
- Applying varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products;
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment;
- Estimating costs and materials;
- Repairing or restyling wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field;
- Demonstrated expertise in woodworking techniques and tools;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Punctuality and reliability.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
