TPINE LEASING CAPITAL CORPORATION is seeking a skilled Debt Counsellor to join our team. As a Debt Counsellor, you will be responsible for assisting clients in managing their debt and providing solutions to achieve their financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approve or reject loan applications, or recommend applications for approval or rejection
  • Assist clients in proposing solutions to address financial objectives such as business expansion, debt management, investment, and other financial goals
  • Complete credit and loan documentation
  • Interview loan applicants
  • Promote the sale of credit and loan services
  • Research and evaluate loan applicants' financial status, references, credit, and ability to repay loans
  • Review and update credit and loan files
  • Submit credit and loan applications to management
  • Network to develop business relations, promote the sale of loan, investment, and other banking services, and attract corporate and individual customers
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week
Work Environment:

The Debt Counsellor will work in a fast-paced environment with a large caseload and tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be organized, and have a client-focused approach.

Security and Safety:

The Debt Counsellor will be required to undergo a criminal record check.
