The Junior Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting procurement activities related to indirect purchases and corporate contracts. This role involves assisting in contract management, supplier negotiations, data analysis, and process improvements to enhance cost efficiency and compliance.
This position provides a foundation in procurement and contract management, offering opportunities for career growth into roles such as Procurement Analyst, Contracts Specialist, Strategic Sourcing Analyst, or Category Manager with experience and further training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the administration of corporate contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Support supplier selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation for indirect purchases (e.g., office supplies, IT services, professional services, travel, facilities management).
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase agreements, and supplier evaluations in procurement systems.
- Ensure contract renewals and amendments are tracked and processed in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in procurement, contract management, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with procurement software (e.g., Ariba, JD Edwards) is a plus.
- Speaking French, Arabic, Spanish or Portuguese considered an asset.
