Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Engineering Manager to oversee and manage engineering activities of their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical projects, engaging with clients, and delivering fire alarm engineering and fire and life safety code projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical projects and collaborate with clients to deliver fire alarm engineering and fire and life safety code projects.
  • Lead technical staff and assign performance goals, provide guidance, and technical mentorship to direct reports.
  • Track and manage project budgets, scope of work, and additional services.
  • Identify new business opportunities, review RFPs, and prepare project proposals.
Requirements
  • Consulting Engineer designation and PMP considered strong assets.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role in an engineering or fire protection setting.
  • Mastery of engineering principles and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in fire alarm system engineering and building code fire and life safety requirements.
  • Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
