Estimated Salary: $38,000 - $45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:
The Pastry Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and presentation of our baked goods meet the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Baking mixed dough and batters
  • Frosting and decorating cakes and baked goods
  • Ensuring the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspecting kitchen and food service areas
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful as a Pastry Specialist at Drumroaster Coffee, you will need:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant work experience
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Work Environment:
This role involves working on-site in our bake shop, supermarket or bakery department, café, or coffee shop locations. Work must be completed at the physical location, with no option to work remotely. You will be expected to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
