Job Title: Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic

Western Tractor is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing heavy-duty equipment, including trucks and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty equipment, including trucks and machinery
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
  • Perform repair work on heavy trucks
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
  • Perform other routine maintenance
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
