Job Title: Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic

Western Tractor is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing heavy-duty equipment, including trucks and other machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspect and diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment.
  • Adjust and repair or replace defective parts to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work to prevent equipment failure.
  • Verify and repair emission control systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment repair.
  • Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Work Environment:

As a Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of heavy-duty equipment. You will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and may be exposed to noise, dust, and other hazards.
