Transform Financial Operations with Our Client in Telecommunications

Randstad Canada is seeking a Senior Financial Transformation Expert to join our client, an exclusive dealer for major Canadian telecoms operating across Southern Ontario. This dynamic organization has built an award-winning network of stores, offering the latest telecommunications technology to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Operations Optimization: Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities (Power Query, VBA, Macros) and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) to streamline financial data processing, improve workflows, and reduce manual effort.
  • Revenue Recognition & System Integration: Maintain detailed records for revenue recognition across multiple streams, ensuring accurate recording through advanced financial systems. Develop automated processes for tracking revenue at both organizational and unit levels.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting Automation: Implement Power BI dashboards and other visualization tools to deliver timely financial insights. Support financial analysis using analytics tools and aid in the development of real-time reporting mechanisms.
  • Expense Management: Oversee capital expenditures and expense management, with a focus on process efficiency. Utilize financial technology to record, verify, and report expenses, and automate cash flow monitoring and expense reporting.
  • Enhanced Financial Controls & Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement. Design and recommend technology-driven solutions to enhance internal controls and optimize financial workflows.
  • Financial Planning & Predictive Analytics: Apply predictive analytics to support financial planning, budget management, and variance analysis. Implement automated systems for scenario planning and dynamic forecasting.
  • Month-End & Quarterly Closing Optimization: Lead the month-end and quarterly closing processes using financial automation, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement reporting.
  • Fund Reconciliation & Reporting: Conduct comprehensive reconciliation of all funds, ensuring alignment with accounting records and financial reports. Monitor fund activities for accuracy, compliance, and proper utilization across departments.
  • System Design & Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with other departments to assess financial processes, identify opportunities for system upgrades, and implement workflow automation to improve accuracy and resource allocation.
Salary:

An estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
