Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Mumbay Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

About the Role
  • This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will work closely with our team to plan menus, estimate food requirements, and prepare special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Additionally, you will supervise kitchen staff and helpers, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and clean kitchen and work areas.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • You will also need to have a valid Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Transportation and Work Conditions

The job requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and repetitive tasks.

Public transportation is available, but you may need to use your own vehicle to travel between locations.
