Marketing Intern

Job Description
  • Assist in executing social media marketing initiatives across Meta, TikTok, X, and Pinterest using social, marketing, and product tools.
  • Work closely with the Creative team and content creators to brief in creative concepts.
  • Help coordinate social media content and campaigns using project management tools, including working with stakeholders to ensure they input, review, and approve marketing tactics on time.
  • Use social listening to monitor and identify opportunities for community engagement to support channel growth and brand awareness.
  • Work closely with Brand Safety to ensure community concerns and issues raised on social media channels are escalated appropriately.
  • Stay up-to-date on social trends, tools, best practices, and have a point of view on emerging new social channels to surface insights and learnings to help optimize content and engagement.
Requirements
  • A highly engaged Wattpadder with a passion for the platform, Wattpad stories, and their creators.
  • Educational or working experience in marketing/communications.
  • Strong organizational or project management skills.
  • You can demonstrate an understanding of social media channels and have a point of view on which brands are doing amazing work in social.
  • You are comfortable with data and can glean learning and insights from numbers.
  • An eagerness to take initiative and an ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
  • Ability to work from Toronto HQ occasionally (1-2 times/month) for content creation is preferred but not required.
What We Offer

$18-$19 per hour. As a remote-friendly company, we encourage candidates to apply regardless of location. However, you must be authorized to work in either the US or Canada (excluding Quebec).
