Job Title: Housekeeping Aide

About the Role:

Preston Park I Retirement Residence is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning duties and routines to ensure a pleasant and safe environment
  • Assist with laundry and linen services
  • Restock supplies and maintain inventory
  • Collaborate with other staff members to achieve common goals
  • Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Grade 10 education or equivalent
  • Ability to learn and apply basic skills through on-the-job training
  • Self-regulation and independence
  • Ability to cooperate with others
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or healthcare environment an asset
