About the Role

We are currently hiring an Armed Driver Cash Transport (casual position) for our Saint John, NB branch.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of our customers' values. We are seeking a team player who possesses a great sense of observation and is customer service oriented.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform pickups and deliveries of values safely and efficiently for each client
  • Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
  • E nsure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
  • Follow established routes and schedules closely
  • Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
  • Load and unload the armored vehicle
  • Complete daily reports and paperwork
  • Respect procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld
  • Carry a firearm during the performance of your duties
Requirements
  • Possess a restricted and non-restricted Federal Firearms License (PAL, Possession and Acquisition licence)
  • Hold a valid driver's license (class 5 minimum) with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
  • Be capable to lift loads up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Be available to work variable shifts (weekend, nights...)
  • Show reliability, conscientiousness, responsibility, and commitment to safe job performance
  • Demonstrate customer service orientation and skill in managing stressful situations
  • Show high organization and comfort working with minimal supervision
  • Be eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of coping with pressure and tight timelines
