Senior Business Transformation Leader

About the Role:
The Senior Business Transformation Leader will collaborate with senior leaders, managers, and cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and document business needs, ensuring high standards of communication and operational efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires deep expertise in business analysis methodologies and industry best practices to influence and shape business processes, systems, and organizational structures.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis activities of the team, including data collection, modeling, testing, and evaluation.
- Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
- Liaise with Business Systems Analysts, Solution Architects, Lead QA, and other subject matter experts to determine workflow, content & format of deliverables and timing of handoffs.
- Balancing strategic vision with detailed execution, guiding both the business and technical teams to achieve project success while ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Anticipating business or project issues and risks, making recommendations to mitigate, recognizing the need for flexibility and diverse solutions while coping with complex situations through deliberate analysis and planning. Escalating key decision challenges to management.
What We're Looking For:
- A three-year degree in such disciplines as Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Commerce, or a related field; post-graduate Business Analysis certificate considered an asset.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience functioning as a senior business analyst or similar role.
- Experience must include the implementation and delivery of projects, having participated in all aspects of the project life cycle.
- Experience in service improvement, solution requirements definition, business process engineering, test plan development, and test execution.
- Experience with formal test management methodologies and supporting tools.
- Experience developing effective and efficient solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
- Experience interacting with senior management to document, analyze, and recommend solutions and business changes.
- Demonstrated experience providing technical direction, mentoring, and training to team members.
- Proven ability to plan and direct complex IT systems development/coding, testing, and implementation efforts.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and technical guidance experience.
- Extensive industry experience in business needs identification and assessment.
- Working knowledge of project management and organizational change management concepts.
- Working understanding of technical architecture components that comprise an ICT solution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and diagramming tools such as MS Visio.
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of human rights, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
- The ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse students, employees, and communities.

- $96,466 - $120,582 per year salary range, plus 4% in lieu of vacation.
