About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at 2362399 ALBERTA INC. as a Heavy Equipment Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial transport truck systems, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Locate faults and malfunctions in mechanical units to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Adjust and Repair Parts and Components: Replace or repair parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, automotive systems, and truck-trailer systems.
  • Estimate and Provide Quotes: Estimate parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs, and provide quotes to customers.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance services on commercial transport trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Test and Adjust Units: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Provide Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Record Problems and Work Performed: Complete reports to record problems and work performed on commercial transport trucks.
Requirements
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification: Possess a valid Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in the field of commercial transport truck systems repair and maintenance.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: Work 30 to 40 hours per week.
