Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at CONNORS TRANSFER LIMITED. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for overseeing the condition of our vehicles, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment. You will also perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and ensure all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Ensure all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration (CVOR) Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Valid passport
  • Criminal record check
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Medical exam
