About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Watson & Hewie Household. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Household Management: Shop for food and household supplies, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for our residents and staff by adhering to our security protocols.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Work Setting: Staff accommodation is available, and the work setting is in an employer's home.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
