About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Food Quality: Ensure that food is prepared and presented to a high standard, meeting the quality control standards of McDonald's Restaurants.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring that inventory levels are optimized and that costs are minimized.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Hire and train new staff members, ensuring that they are equipped to meet the needs of our customers and the demands of the role.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent customer interactions.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, working in a hot and noisy environment.
