Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of food service staff and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and quality food.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
- Hire and train new staff members, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays, and ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and presented to a high standard.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly and effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
