About the Role

Puglisevich Crews and Services Limited is seeking a skilled Rig Mechanic to join our team. As a Rig Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our offshore drilling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and Troubleshoot Irregularities: Identify and resolve issues with machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Replace Defective Parts: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment to extend its lifespan and maintain efficiency.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular checks and maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure safe operation.
  • Operate Machining Tools: Fabricate parts and components as needed to support drilling operations.
  • Program PLCs: Develop and implement control programs for drilling equipment to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Install and Operate Equipment: Install and operate hoisting and lifting equipment, as well as other machinery and tools, to support drilling operations.
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate installation and operation of equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Work Setting: Offshore drilling rig

  • Language: English
  • Working Hours: 2190 hours per year
