Rig Mechanic Job Description

Puglisevich Crews and Services Limited is seeking a skilled Rig Mechanic to join our team. As a Rig Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing drilling equipment on offshore rigs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts to prevent downtime and ensure safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on drilling equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend its lifespan.
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and repair equipment.
  • Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate drilling processes.
  • Install machinery and equipment on offshore rigs.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand drilling equipment design and functionality.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drilling equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Dental plan, health care plan, and vision care benefits provided.
  • Temporaire employment contract.
  • English as the primary language of communication.
  • 2190 hours per year of work.
