Job Title: Kitchen Helper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Seaside Grill Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Store dishes and kitchen supplies in designated areas.
  • Prepare and package take-out food for customers.
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards with supplies.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by kitchen staff.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation procedures.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Overtime required during peak periods.
  • Standing for extended periods.
Language:

English or French.

Work Schedule:

40 to 50 hours per week.
