About the Role
Hamel Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will assist the Project Manager in various tasks, including:
- Client Communication: Manage communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Project Scheduling: Update project schedules and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Financial Management: Prepare and present payment requests to clients.
- Human Resources: Manage administrative tasks related to project personnel.
- Procurement: Ensure timely procurement of project resources.
- Change Management: Manage change orders and provide cost proposals to clients.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project team members, and stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation and records.
- Perform other related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., construction management, civil engineering).
- Language: Fluency in French (advanced) and English (intermediate).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Education: Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Training: General safety training on a construction site (ASP card).
- Permits: Junior engineer permit.
