Family Law Content Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Law Content Specialist to join our team at LEAP Legal Software. As a key member of our Content Development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the success of our business by tailoring our world-class software to meet the needs of clients who practice Family Law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and provide recommendations on how to enhance our software to support clients across different provinces.
  • Meet with users to gather feedback and work closely with our developers to bring your recommendations to life.
  • Train clients on how to use DivorceMate Software content in LEAP.
  • Assist in new project work on new content initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of these projects to our clients.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience working in the legal industry as a lawyer within the family area of law.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Experience using a legal document management software program.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong commitment to deliver excellent client service.
  • Ability to strategize and improve processes to maximize quality output.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (intermediate +).
  • A passion for legal research, together with experience using different research methods to find answers.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Driven to provide the best possible result for clients.
  • Experience balancing competing priorities and shifting deadlines.
