As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting with engineering investigations, preparing layouts, and conducting field data collection.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with engineering investigations for new customer connections and upgrades
- Prepare layouts and sketches for water, rail, and pipeline crossings
- Meet with representatives of telephone, cable TV companies, and other utilities to obtain reaction to proposed joint use agreements
- Prepare and process billing authorization and permits
- Carry out staking activities and prepare staking data
- Provide field data for engineering studies
- Collect delinquent accounts and restore service upon payment
- Enrolled in an Electrical or Civil Engineering Tech program, minimum 1st year
- Valid and current G2 class driver's license
As a student at Hydro One, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our experienced engineers and technicians to develop your skills and knowledge in the field of distribution engineering.
