We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in Fort Mc Murray. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

This salary estimate is based on industry standards for experienced heavy equipment mechanics in the Fort Mc Murray area.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair, transmission maintenance, and electrical system troubleshooting. Previous experience with Cummins, MX, and CAT engines is highly desirable.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues with heavy-duty trucks
  • Maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A valid Alberta Journeyman certification in Heavy Equipment Repair
  • Previous experience with heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, transmission maintenance, and electrical system troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
