We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Serena Properties Inc. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and accurate manner.
- Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel and change room reservations, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Guest Communication: Provide general information about points of interest in the area, process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments, and balance cash and complete balance sheets.
- Clerical Duties: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments, and perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Customer Service: Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, assist clients/guests with special needs, and provide customer service.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Multi-line switchboard, word processing software, and internet.
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Language: Langue de travail: Anglais.
- Work Schedule: Heures de travail: 40 hours per week.
