Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cage Cashier to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash transactions, and maintaining a safe and welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Handling and Administration
    • Process cash transactions, including foreign currency exchange, traveler's cheques, and cash counts
    • Monitor and report discrepancies and suspicious cash activities
  • Customer Service and Support
    • Provide excellent customer service to guests and team members
    • Communicate effectively with operational departments
  • Operational Tasks
    • Redeem value chips and gaming tickets for cash
    • Sell racing tickets, vouchers, and racing programs
    • Verify and process machine fills, machine jackpots, and table fills
    • Issue opening floats to Slot Attendants and reconcile closing floats
    • Transfer and store floats, keys, and record-keeping documents
  • Compliance and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications
    • High School Diploma; post-secondary education an asset
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume cash handling
    • Food Safety Certification
    • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Work Environment
    • Regular casino and cage environment, standing or sitting for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours
