Job Summary

As a Product Quality Specialist at LGC Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to perform in-depth reviews of analytical results, accurately and in a timely fashion. This involves analyzing data from various sources, including NMR, MS, FT-IR, UV/Vis, TLC, HPLC, and GC. You will also be responsible for identifying and interpreting out-of-specification (OOS) data, as well as recognizing and rationalizing out-of-trend (OOT) results. Additionally, you will create Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and ensure that all analytical data is reported according to guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth reviews of analytical results, accurately and in a timely fashion
• Analyze data from various sources, including NMR, MS, FT-IR, UV/Vis, TLC, HPLC, and GC
• Identify and interpret out-of-specification (OOS) data
• Recognize and rationalize out-of-trend (OOT) results
• Create Certificates of Analysis (CoA)
• Ensure that all analytical data is reported according to guidelines

Requirements

• M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry with >1-2 years of related work experience
• Or similar Life Science degree and 3-5 years of related work experience
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent analytical result interpretation skills and high attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of the theory and instrumentation of spectroscopy (NMR, MS, FT-IR, UV/Vis, etc.) and chromatography (TLC, HPLC, GC, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of the theory and application of analytical chemistry, wet chemistry, and organic chemistry
• Hands-on experience in NMR, HPLC, GC, wet chemistry, and organic chemistry
