Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position, with an estimated 1950 hours worked per year. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures;
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care;
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and hospital staff;
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical practices and advancements in anesthesia care;
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold a valid medical license in Canada;
• Be certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada;
• Have completed a residency program in anesthesiology or a related field;
• Have experience working in a hospital setting as an anesthesiologist.
