At Alberta LTD, we are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Job

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience and location in Canada.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical support and be proficient in computer systems and software.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in a similar role and be able to provide excellent customer service.

Job Description

The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance to users in response to identified difficulties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Providing business systems, network and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Collecting, organizing and maintaining a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.

The successful candidate will also participate in the redesign of applications and other software.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

You will also need to be proficient in English and have a strong understanding of computer systems and software.
