Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and provide technical support to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to identify areas of risk and ensure quality standards align with project scope and the Quality Assurance Plan.
  • Track, analyze, and report on observations, including identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in quality management execution.
  • Develop and implement the Quality Assurance Plan in collaboration with the production team.
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections of structural, mechanical, and electrical components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Provide a positive and supportive approach when dealing with unexpected issues.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety rules and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in quality control accountability, preferably in construction or manufacturing related to commercial or healthcare buildings.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, including specifications, drawings, methods, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of various engineering systems, principles, and practices.
  • Excellent understanding and interpretation of building codes, including mechanical, electrical, and related federal and provincial regulations.
  • Ability to influence project planning and sequencing.
  • Ability to monitor project progress to ensure timely inspections.
  • Ability to identify quality risks associated with the project(s).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive individual who can excel independently and manage own projects and deadlines.
