Data Analyst Position: Member Services and Innovation Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO). As a key member of our Member Services and Innovation department, you will play a critical role in managing communication channels between CIRO and its members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management: Manage and maintain member data reporting systems to generate insights and support decision-making. Coordinate the collection of data from various sources and departments within the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Prepare plans and document processes to streamline member data collection, storage, and analysis for reporting purposes. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and databases for seamless data flow. Create and deliver reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate data findings.
  • Training and Development: Build training modules and educate team members on optimal use of newly developed processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields or relevant experience emphasizing analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in data management, analysis, or business intelligence, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of data management principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Project management skills to lead data centralization initiatives and coordinate data collection and reporting initiatives.
