Delivery Associate

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Associate to join our team at Big Venture Sales Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.

• Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand
• Operate and drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products
• Provide exceptional customer service and professionalism
• Keep accurate records of items received and delivered
• Load and unload goods, sort packages for delivery, and follow directions and read maps
• Record trip information, such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle

• Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
• Local transportation/travel experience
• Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physically demanding tasks
• Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Cellular phone and other necessary tools/equipment
• Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, accurate, dependability, excellent oral communication, initiative, and punctuality

This is an on-the-road job with a courier company, requiring the ability to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors and in cold/refrigerated conditions.
