Job Summary

Southern Industrial & Truck Ltd is seeking a skilled Transport Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair complex issues with transport truck systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and test repaired units to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Parts Replacement: Replace worn or damaged parts and components with new ones, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, to prevent breakdowns and extend vehicle lifespan.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure all repairs and maintenance meet our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
