Job Summary:

As a Technical Solution Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of integrated technology solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable technologies that meet business requirements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead architecture for various projects, including SAAS selection and implementation, migration of legacy solutions from on-prem to the cloud, and build of custom solutions in Azure. You will also be responsible for managing architectural risk mitigation and remediation, as well as delivering solution designs that align with our overall enterprise architecture strategy and standards.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who can bring their expertise in software architecture, data integration, and security to this role. Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical solution leadership for capabilities under the HR and Corporate portfolios
  • Produce target state architecture and roadmaps for the accountable portfolio
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing advice on data movement and integration best practices, solution security, infrastructure, networking, and resiliency
  • Lead architecture for projects of various types including SAAS selection and implementation, migration of legacy solutions from on-prem to the cloud, or build of custom solutions in Azure
  • Work closely with teams across the enterprise to implement and integrate scalable and reliable technologies
  • Manage architectural risk mitigation and remediation
  • Deliver solution designs that align with our overall enterprise architecture strategy and standards
  • Communicate solution design to get alignment across business and technology stakeholders
  • Provide more detail for delivery on enterprise architecture designs so offshore development or external vendors can complete the solution

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, a strong background in software architecture, data integration, and security, and a proven track record of delivering successful technology solutions. Requirements:
  • Post secondary education, preferably in Computer Science or related fields
  • 5+ years of practical experience as a Solution Architect
  • Strong technology research skill set with proven ability to architect and present technology alternatives based on scope level business concepts
  • Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills with the understanding of design patterns for n-tier and service-oriented architectures, including web services
  • Knowledge in principles of software architecture, techniques, and UML notation
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to learn new information and systems quickly
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly matrix organization and build partnerships with peers and vendors
  • Knowledge of Containers and containers orchestration tools
  • Expertise in solution design and development
  • Knowledge and experience regarding the practical application of security/risk concepts, standards, and regulations
  • Experience designing and delivering web-based solutions integrating to legacy back-end environments
  • Experience designing/implementing HCM software like Workday, PeopleSoft, Dayforce etc. is nice to have
